K2 hosts charity abseil event

A charity abseil took place at K2 at the weekend, to raise money for local charity PAUL For Brain Recovery.

The event was organised by Bambu, a Hull scaffolding firm which has been working on the K2 development. Dozens of people abseiled 12 storeys down the building, raising thousands for the cause, which supports people affected by brain injury.

Brian Freestone, Communities Director at K2, commented:

“The recent bad weather still didn’t stop people turning up to abseil down the side of K2 on Saturday. We’re delighted we could provide the venue for this challenge and wanted to congratulate all those who took part on their fantastic achievement.”
