We’re delighted to announce that our new K2 Bond Street development will be the sponsor of the Volunteer of the Year Award at the annual Humber & Lincolnshire Disability Sports Awards. The event will be held on Friday 1st June at Hull’s new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.
Community spirit is at the heart of K2 and we have designed and adapted the complex to make it accessible for all. Our ethos of breaking down barriers goes hand-in-hand with Disability Sports Humber, which supports more than 300 disabled people every year with their sporting aspirations.
The largest disability sports charity in our region, Disability Sports Humber runs solely with the support of volunteers, allowing them to put 100% of funds raised back into helping people achieve their ambitions.
The annual awards evening is the charity’s biggest source of funding and brings together the area’s business community and disabled sports stars to honour clubs and individuals.
